APG Pre-Mutual Evaluation Training Workshop, 21-24 April 2015, Sydney, Australia
The aim of this workshop is to assist APG members to be evaluated in 2016-17 (Cambodia; Macao, China; Mongolia; Thailand; and United States). The workshop will cover the FATF assessment methodology and the APG 3rd round mutual evaluation procedures. It will include the main steps of the evaluation process: scoping note, technical compliance updates, responses to core issues on effectiveness, the onsite visit, the mutual evaluation report and the mutual evaluation process generally.
The workshop has been designed for:
- The official appointed as national coordinator/main contact for your evaluation; and
- The officials with legal, financial/regulatory and law enforcement/FIU responsibilities (one person from each discipline and representing each relevant agency) involved in completing your jurisdiction’s technical compliance updates and providing responses to the core issues on effectiveness for the 11 immediate outcomes.
You are invited to nominate five (5) persons to attend the workshop, as well as a reserve candidate(s) in the event that one of your principal nominees is unable to participate, or we are able to make another position(s) available to your jurisdiction (if, for example, another jurisdiction is unable to send five persons to the workshop).
