13th Annual Meeting, Singapore, 12 - 16 July 2010

The 13th APG Annual Meeting will be held in Singapore during the week of 12 to 16 July 2010, inclusive.  Monday 12 July will be for technical information seminars and other meetings including the APG Steering Group and marginal mutual evaluation meetings. The core business of the plenary will take place during the balance of the week.  

The purpose of this Annual Meeting is to discuss the APG's strategic direction and work programme, including:

  • the structure and operation of the APG (including its Terms of Reference, planning issues, budget etc);
  • a number of mutual evaluation reports of APG members;
  • implementation issues facing APG members;
  • technical assistance and training issues for APG members in coordination with donor organisations and jurisdictions;
  • emerging and evolving money laundering and terrorist financing methods as well as counter-measures; and
  • special issues and developments of significance to members and observers.

Invitations to the APG Annual Meeting may be extended to non-members and organisations, however, certain agenda items will be confidential and only members may attend those sessions.

Invitations together with hotel booking information will be sent to members and observers in April 2010.  Please use the link in the invitation letter for accommodation bookings.  Also please note that this year APG delegates will be able to register for the Annual Meeting via this website with a new on-line registration system. Information on how to do this will be included in the APG invitation letter.

Members and Observers: meeting documents will be posted to the APG secure site for your access as they are completed.  An alert email to this effect will be sent to APG primary contact points and registered delegates.
